To celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s 70th Jubilee, Shop Hartlepool are encouraging local businesses to join in the celebrations. Inspired by the creativity shown by local businesses in the 2021 Christmas Window Display competition, Shop Hartlepool are hosting a Platinum Jubilee Window Trail. Shop Hartlepool businesses can be as creative as they wish: decorating their window to suit the occasion. There will be creating a central place on the Shop Hartlepool blog to host the businesses involved so that people can follow the trail around the town to admire the Jubilee themed windows.
The Shop Hartlepool 2021 Christmas Window Display competition was a fantastic success with 28 local businesses joining the competition. Following a public vote The Simple Weigh crowned the best display in the town.
The Shop Hartlepool Platinum Jubilee Window Trail is an opportunity for businesses to get involved with Shop Hartlepool, other businesses and the community, while also celebrating the Queen, royalty and all things British. The Jubilee Window Trail will not be a competition, it will be a fun activity for Shop Hartlepool businesses to be involved in. Everyone will be a winner!
How businesses can get involved
Step 1 : Make sure your business is registered to Shop Hartlepool. If you aren’t part of our community yet, you can sign up here.
Step 2: Let your imaginations go wild and decorate your window.
Step 3: Take a photo of your window and send it to Shop Hartlepool by 20th May 2022 to be included in the Shop Hartlepool Platinum Jubilee Window Trail and blog post.

Important things to note
– To be included in our blog post, we need to know about your window display by May 20th. Any photos sent after this time, won’t be guaranteed to be included on the Shop Hartlepool blog
– There will be no competition, we won’t be announcing a ‘winner’. We are simply encouraging everyone to get involved and have some fun!
