Isn’t it everyone’s dream to turn a passion into a business? That’s exactly what Chloe did with Oh So Clo Crafts. After raising money for the NHS during the first lockdown, Chloe set up her small business from home creating beautiful, hand-painted personalised wooden plaques.
What made you start the business?
I wanted a small art business that was mine, alongside working full time as a hairdresser. I did my BA Honours Art degree and wanted to used my passion to create my own style of art for people to see.
What do you love most about running your own business?
I get to connect with other creative people and have the freedom to create and showcase what I can do. I love putting my own touches on how I package things and adding cute notes.
Describe your business in just three words?
Unique, colourful and bespoke.
What’s your best seller?
My best seller is my bespoke wooden plaque and stand which people have created for couple paintings or in memory of a beloved pet.
What three things would you take to a desert island?
I would take my husband, chocolate and a hairbrush.
